Exclusive: Denis Kang Signs With W-1 MMA
We are so excited to welcome Denis Kang to the W-1 organization. This signing speaks volumes for W-1, solidifying our position as the top MMA production in Canada and making us a name globally as a go-to for fighters. This is the first of many major announcements we’ll be making over the next few days, leading up to our next event W-1 Bad Blood on March 20th in Montreal.
Kang was released from his UFC contract after going 1-2 with the organization with his most recent loss coming at the hands of Michael Bisping via TKO at UFC 105: Couture vs. Vera. Kang’s opponent for the W-1 card has not been confirmed at this time.
Keep it tuned to TopMMANews.com for news and lead up to W-1: Bad Blood on March 20th.

Kang is heartless. W1 the biggest show in Canada are you kidding? Not even close
Actually Aaron, they are growing really fast and it doesn’t look like they are staying regional. They are becoming more and more interesting.
sorry but this is NOT exclusive
“sorry but this is NOT exclusive”
It was released before the press release – and confirmed with Mr. Bateman = exclusive…cheers.
w1 is not even in the top 4 in Canada
Aaron – who is bigger?
MFC is probably #1. After that there is nothing.
MFC is and will be the best organization in canada…get your facts right…names like Thales Leites who fought anderson silva, wilson gouveia, ryan jimmo (one of the best up and coming canadian fighters in his weight class) , Luigi Fiorivantii, Bobby Lashley got his start there ( his 2nd pro mma fight) , just to name a few…W1 is ok but MFC is going to be huge once they get in to Ontario…Edmonton has some killer cards..check it out..join the group on facebook “Legalize mma in Ontario” we need to get this amazing sport sanctioned in Ontario ASAP!!!!
