Boots Scraps Recaps Jackson MMA Training
It is my second time training at Greg Jackson’s, this time the training is even better! I am here with Pat, his family and my training partner, Stephane Bernadel. All the guys at Jackson’s MMA are really nice to us and training us hard! They all recognize Pat and I from our first trip, so that’s really cool!
Steph and I started the training at 10 am Monday morning. We have been training twice a day and tomorrow we will only train once, a private with Greg Jackson himself, in the morning and then drive out to finish our trip in LA!
So far the training has been off the hook, training every aspect of MMA. We got some really cool GNP drills and also got to test our stand up with top WEC-UFC fighters! In between the awesome training sessions Steph and I had, we watch movies and chill in the hotel room. Eat, sleep, train. That’s all there is to do in Albuquerque and its awesome!
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday has been all hard training for Steph and I. I have had the opportunity to train with great UFC\WEC fighters like Joe “Daddy” Stevenson, Melvin Guillard, Leonard Garcia and Cub Swanson. All those fighters are awesome guys to train with.
I feel really strong and happy to have this opportunity to train with top level guys, great start for my training camp for my fight in Dubai. This trip was organized by my instructor Pat, always seeking the best for his fighters and exposing us to great talent and training. Its not over yet, still got to hit up LA! Driving from NYC to Albuquerque to LA…what an awesome road trip! Thanks big Daddy!
Tomorrow we have a private with Coach Greg Jackson and then we leave to LA to train at HBJJ (Hollywood Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) Shawn William’s academy, a Renzo Gracie black belt and good friend of Pat. When we get to LA we will possibly have some special training there too but nothing is confirmed yet, so I will let you guys know ASAP! I cant wait!
Here is a pic of where I train with the fighters, in the MMA cage. More pics to come!
Keep your eyes posted on the website, for my post from Los Angeles! Take care everyone!
