Tim Hague to Fight Tuchscherer at UFC 109

Tim Hague - KOTC Canada Champ is UFC BoundThe UFC has announced that Edmonton’s Tim Hague will fight Chris Tuchscherer at UFC 109.  UFC 109 is being held, once again, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Both Heavyweights will be trying to erase painful memories of their last outings.  Hague, who has a 1-1 UFC record, was knocked out by Todd Duffee in seven seconds at UFC 102 in his last fight.  Hague addressed a TFC 9 crowd this past weekend and mentioned that he turned down a fight with Junior Dos Santos.  He mentioned something else was in the works and it turns out that it was Tuchscherer.  Dos Santos will instead fight Gilbert Yvel.

Tuchscherer also suffered a loss at UFC 102.  Chris was felled by a vicious groin shot by Gabriel Gonzaga in his UFC debut.  Not knowing what would happen if he said that he could not continue, Tuscherer fought through the pain by suffered a TKO loss.
