As reported by Top MMA News a few days ago, MMA fighters Chris Peak and James Hanson from Prince George have been charged with Aggrevated Sexual Assault. The two remain in custody and will have a bail hearing this afternoon.

The victim’s family have spoken for the first time since the attack.

According to the Chronicle Herald the family is really hoping that the suspects aren’t released on bail this afternoon. “We want to make sure they stay behind bars,” the woman’s stepfather said. “That’s the only reason we’re here.”

When talking about the injuries from the Halifax provincial court, the woman’s stepfather had this to say “She has broken ribs, a collapsed lung, fractured spine. … She’s in and out of consciousness. She’s drugged up.” “She’s not going to be out of hospital any time soon,”

Top MMA News wishes the victim a speedy recovery.
