Another Affliction Bout Picked Up by Zuffa
Dana White confirmed that Canada’s Mark Hominick will be returning to the WEC during Friday’s media call. Hominick was to face Deividas Taurosevicius at Affliction III prior to its cancellation. Now, that same bout will be on the WEC 43 card September 2 in Youngston, Ohio. The Canadian fighter previously fought twice at Featherweight for the WEC – losing to Josh Grispi and Rani Yahya. Hominick, who is 2-0 as a Lightweight in the UFC, is coming off a victory earlier this year at Affliction over Savant Young.
Taurosevicius is an IFL Lightweight title contender and has beaten Dan Lauzon, Savant Young, and Bart Palaszewski in his 10-3 carreer.
