UFC 100 is finally here.  There are two title fights, plenty of hype, and front row tickets are being scalped for a reported $40,000+ on StubHub.  There are few interesting plays on a couple of underdogs on this card.  Top MMA News is once again breaking down the card.

Frank Mir (+175) vs Brock Lesnar (-256)
Lesnar will not get stood up by ref Steve Mazzagatti in this rematch with Mir.  Brock will ground and pound a first round victory and remain the UFC Heavyweight champion.  Lesnar by TKO

Georges St Pierre (-400) vs Thiago Alves (+250)
I know that Top MMA News should be impartial but, Go Canada! GSP will beat Alves to the punch standing and will take down Alves every round.  Alves must out strike GSP to win this as St-Pierre is still nervous after the Serra KO.  Look for a second round TKO as GSP dominates the ground game and remain the Welterweight champion.  GSP by TKO

Dan Henderson (-250) vs Michael Bisping (+175)
Dan Henderson takes another decision victory.  Bisping will not be able to stop the takedowns by the stronger Henderson.  This will be a close fight and Bisping will win a round.  Having Cyrille Diabate at the Team Quest camp may be the difference.  Henderson by Split Decision

Alan Belcher (+220) vs Yoshiro Akiyama (-333)
Duke Roufus trained Belcher will overwhelm Akiyama who will fall in his UFC debut just as Kang and Shogun faltered in their first UFC fights.  Belcher wins by TKO

Paulo Thiago (+260) vs Jon Fitch (-417)
Jon Fitch will avenge Josh Koscheck’s loss for AKA.  Fitch by Unanimous Decision

Jake O’Brien (+300) vs  Jon Jones (-500)
Jones is very exciting but will not be able to stop the stronger wrestler’s takedowns.  Bet the dog on this one as Jones is a huge favorite.  O’Brien by Unanimous Decision

Mac Danzig (+145) vs Jim Miller (-200)
Jim Miller will be too strong for Danzig.  Unfortunately for Danzig, it will be his third loss in a row and he will probably be the first TUF winner since Travis Lutter to be released by the UFC.  Miller by Unanimous Decision

Mark Coleman (+275) vs Stephan Bonnar (-435)
Coleman may be able to take down Bonnar and win the first, but his conditioning has been lacklustre so far.  Bonnar wins the remaining two rounds by picking apart the slowing Coleman.  Bonnar by Unanimous Decision

TJ Grant vs Dong Hyun Kim
TJ Grant won a split decision over Chonan in his UFC debut.  Kim looked terrible in a losing effort to a bad looking Karo Parisyan (later overturned to a No Contest).  Got to take Grant based on Kim’s last performance.  Kim does not look as good as his undefeated record. Go Canada. TJ Grant by Second Round Sub
