Marvin Eastman signs Three-Fight Contract with MFC

Today I received an email from MFC President Mark Pavelich announcing that he has signed Marvin “The Beastman” Eastman to a 3 fight deal that starts on May 15th at MFC 21: Hard Knocks.

His last outing was, ironically, in Alberta, Canada when he fought Denis Kang at Raw Combat last October where he was defeated before Kang went on to join the UFC after the victory, and now Eastman is back in a stacked MFC 205 pound division with endless possibilities.

Eastman is a seasoned veteren with K1 experience and is always a threat to anybody he is facing as he has some dangerous hands, and is always game to go toe to toe with anybody.  Hopefully we can see him square off against the likes of Emanuel Newton, David Heath, or Roger Hollett in the future just to name a few.

I asked Mark jokingly when we’ll see the Lutter vs. Eastman rematch, but that’s not happening.  They will both be gunning for separate MFC titles.  No opponent has been announced yet, but it will be interesting to see what Pavelich pulls out considering the way the rest of the card has been shaping up.  MFC 21 unofficial work in progress
