Canadian Fighting Championship to Air on the Fight Network
The team at Canadian Fighting Championship have been hard at work on the first CFC card scheduled for Feb 6th at the Winnipeg Convention Center. They have been in negotiations with the Fight Network for the past few weeks and have secured a television deal to broadcast the event in the near future.
“We are ecstatic that we were able to secure a TV deal in our debut event with the Fight Network,” CFC’s Giuseppe Denatale was quoted. “With the level of talent we bring to the table, some of the best established and up and coming Canadian talent, we were a perfect fit for the Canadian Network to have our fights on the air, let alone the return and MMA television debut of Canadian Rockstar Robin Black” CFC Matchmaker Marc-Andre Drolet mentioned when asked of the deal.
The Fight Network deal opens the doors for all current and future CFC fighters for sponsorship and advertising opportunities. The Fight Network is broadcast to over 500,000 homes in Canada and will be launching shortly in Mexico.
“We are very excited about adding CFC to our lineup of Canadian MMA promotions,” added The Fight Network’s VP of Programming, Chad Midgley. “The card looks very promising with Robin Black, Rodrigo Munduruca, Chris Fontaine and Dave Zuniga and is sure to be a thrilling event for our loyal viewers.”
