TFC 5 Results: Claude Patrick Crowned TFC Champion
On December 5, The Fight Club held its fifth show at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. On the card, IFL veteran Claude Patrick won the TFC Welterweight belt by submitting Victor Bachman with a Guillotine late in the first round.
Patrick’s win marks the culmination of a remarkable comeback. Earlier this year, Patrick was attacked with a taser after a Freedom Fight event and rendered unconscious. At the hospital, doctors placed Patrick in a coma to aid his recovery. Now fully recovered, Patrick has returned to MMA and won a title in his first fight back. Patrick had last fought at TFC 3 in May when he defeated Dan “Torture” Chambers.
