Joe Doerksen signs with Sengoku

I just got off the phone with Joe Doerksen and he has just been added to the Nov. 1st Sengoku card in Tokyo Japan.  He will be facing Izuru Takeuchi at 183 pounds, and the winner will get a chance to compete in the Grand Prix as the tournament alternate.  This should lay to rest all the inquiries on when and where Joe is fighting Travis Lutter.  As stated in his last video, he agreed to fight Travis in a new promotion in Texas, but never heard back and for whatever reason it isn’t happening.

Joe is very excited about returning to Japan, and an opportunity of getting into the Grand Prix.  Trainer Giuseppe Denatale has already been cracking the whip for a few weeks as they knew there was a chance there could be a spot on this card.

Joe is vowing to represent Canada well in his next bout, and from everybody here at we wish him luck, and look forward to following the training over the next 3 weeks.  Stay tuned to and for all the latest Joe Doerksen news.
