Elite XC Results: Kimbo KO’d by Petruzelli
At the last minute, Ken Shamrock was pulled form his main event fight against Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson, in a very hyped fight that had everybody wanting to see what would happen. At the last minute Seth Petruzelli stepped up and replaced Ken Shamrock in the main event. (Ken got split open by a headbutt and required 6 stitches above his left eye from a training partner, and the commission doctor wouldn’t allow him to compete.)
The main event lasted only 14 seconds as Kimbo got caught with a Silverback right hand that floored him, where he ate a few more big shots before it was stopped by the referee. After the fight he tried to wrestle the ref down, until he realized it was over. Kimbo was Very gracious in defeat and Petruzelli was almost apologetic.
